Luxators are instruments used to loosen teeth within their sockets before extraction, easing the removal process and minimizing trauma to surrounding tissues. Featuring various blade shapes and sizes, luxators are inserted into the periodontal ligament space and gently rotated or levered to expand the socket and disrupt the periodontal attachments.
