Description
Manual nephroscope accessories are components used in conjunction with a manual nephroscope during percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) to enhance visualization and enable various surgical maneuvers. The Obturator is a smooth, rounded tip that is inserted into the nephroscope sheath during initial insertion to minimize tissue trauma. The Connecting Bridge attaches to the proximal end of the nephroscope and provides ports for irrigation, suction, and the introduction of other instruments. Biopsy Forceps (for Nephroscope) are small forceps that can be passed through the working channel of the nephroscope to obtain tissue samples for pathological examination. These accessories are designed to be compatible with specific sizes of manual nephroscopes.
